Perceived-teacher presenteeism scale: A scale development study

This study aims to develop and test the reliability validity of a multi-item teachers’ perceived presenteeism behavior scale. For this, first all, semi-structured interview form was applied 57 teachers, an item pool formed for scale with data obtained, draft prepared in line expert opinions. Then, 382 exploratory factor analysis performed obtained. As result analysis, three-dimensional structure consisting 14 items Data were collected from 303 teachers confirm this structure, three-factors confirmed based on acceptable fit values confirmatory analysis. It determined that validated second-order three-factor model provided convergent discriminant criteria. The measurement invariance according gender, marital status, age groups tested, it observed same measured different groups. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient composite showed sufficient achieved Finally, test-retest its stability stable. Thus, concluded is valid reliable conditions measure teachers' perceptions presenteeism.
